Meet Your Host - Daryl Fisher

“The High Ground” is the first-hand account of Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient, Daryl Fisher, sharing what it was like to live through the height of the Vietnam War, told with humor, compassion and humility.  Daryl not only captures the reality of what it was like to live day-to-day in the middle of an unpopular war fought half-a-world away from home, but he also tells compelling stories of finding love and friendship along the way.  It’s not your usual tale of war and combat operations, and can be read and enjoyed by anyone who lived through those tumultuous times, especially those whose lives were forever changed by the Vietnam War.
